this is not actually complete tutorial, but it help (i guess) in achieving different (maybe more interesting) skin colour. i used in this case picture of emily browning . we go from this (x) to this (x).

1. so open an image and create a new layer, filled with #E9B393, set as 'linear burn' at 100%.
2. copy thas layer and set it at 50% as 'overlay'.
3. one more time copy the layer and set it as 'hue' at 100%.
4. create a new layer and fill it with #FFC5C5 and set as 'colour' at 45%.
5. and again, create a new layer, fill it with #BE8979, and set it as 'colour' at 20%.
6. go to 'layers > new adjustment layer > selective colouring:
yellows:
cyan +60
yellows -12%
black +40
black
black +35
7. at this point there you should get something like this (x). of course it's not finished, but for colouring other things, just look at my old tutorial.

tips:
1. remember that on different pictures, opacities and settings of selective colouring layers, may not look as good as here, so try to have fun with them.
2. when person on a picture, looks for a little bit flat, you can always add some highlights on skin, with light pink colour (e.g. #FFD5D5) with quite large, soft brush. those highlights are looking nice, when they are under the eyebrows, close to a corners of an eye, under eyes (but above a cheek bones).
